As the facilitators are members of the queer community and fierce allies, the two Zoe’s have worked hard to create a safe, inclusive space. This workshop is open to all gender identities and sexualities. Experience with creative writing is not necessary for participation in this workshop. Given the nature of the subject matter and language used, this workshop is for participants 18 years or older.

1. To create a safe space and open up communication and conversations about sensuality, self, Eros, the body, love and sexuality through poetry.
2. To springboard creative collaboration by using lyricism to develop an aesthetic of desire, and to create a space to workshop poetry with encouraging instructional foundation.
